Ahmadi Win Titles The World Series of Poker is inching ever closer to the Main
Event but that has not stopped players from getting their practice in with the
smaller events Three more bracelets have recently been handed out at this years
Series in Las Vegas The Main Event is of course the Super Bowl of poker Players

more players have added their names to the list of former bracelet winners
Bahador Ahmadi John Kabbaj and Derek Raymond all left final tables as the lone
survivors John Kabbaj triumphed in Event 45 a World Championship Pot-Limit
Hold’em tournament There were 275 players that entered the tournament and it
came down to Kabbaj and Kirill Gerasimov for the title Kabbaj claimed the win
and $633,335 Event 47 was a Mixed Hold’em Limit/No-Limit tournament with a
$2,500 buy-in Behador Ahmadi outlasted the field of 527 players and won the
bracelet First place money for the event was $278,804 Derek Raymond also
captured a bracelet in the Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Event 46 The buy-in
was $2,500 in this event as well and Raymond survived against 424 opponents Mark
Tenner finished in second place and won $141,647 Raymond won $229,192 for his
