Pennsylvania Residents While Las Vegas Sands focused much of their attention on
an Asian initial public offering this past week there were also some new
adventures taking place in the US Sands Bethlehem Casino Resort opened new
facilities aimed at pleasing Pennsylvania residents The casino opened two new
restaurants a nightclub and 250 slot machines to the public for the first time
this weekend and so far the reviews have been great The casino has expanded and
it has brought a festive atmosphere to Bethlehem over the weekend I ate at the
new Emeril restaurant and the food was phenomenal said Mary Shriver I have been
coming to the casino for several months and it just seems like a more festive
place to be now The restaurant that Shriver was referring to was the first
burger restaurant from famous chef Emeril Lagasse Burgers and More takes some of
the best beef available and adds in Emeril’s famous touch to create what some
believe are the best burgers in the world The other restaurant that was opened
this weekend was the Carnegie Deli Made famous in New York the Carnegie Deli
provides Pennsylvanians with a taste of the Big Apple The two restaurants join
another Emeril establishment the Chop House on the Sands Bethlehem property
Pennsylvania has been busy expanding their casino options for the past several
years Lawmakers are considering allowing table games at casinos in the state and
that would give the casinos the strength to compete with Atlantic City for the
gambling dollars in the Northeast November 22 2009 Posted By Tom Jones Staff
